Default Duck Tape problem

Hi, I had to take my royal to the vet recently because he had somehow got the duck tape that was holding the probe and heatmat wire in place stuck on him. He is doing well now but I was wondering what I could use to keep it in palce that won't do any damage to the snake.
thanks

Hi. I use clips. You will get them in B&Q ect. Sure thats wot alot of ppl will be using. Its just a little plastic U shapped clip with a little tack nail that u simply hammer in. keeps every thing tidy and dont cost much. You might see them keeping your home telephone wiring cliped to the skirtings.

Duck/duct tape is ok outside the viv, but inside the heat makes it 'tacky' so it does not stick properly...unless its to your snake...then it will stick like hell. Always use clips.
